Feedback reveals that the restaurant can get quite crowded during peak times, particularly on Friday and Saturday evenings, leading to longer wait times for both service and seating. Some diners also mention that although the food is generally excellent, occasional inconsistencies can arise with specific dishes. The closure on Mondays—excluding bank holidays—might disappoint cravings that arise at the start of the week. Overall, while the dining experience is largely positive, it may help to visit during off-peak hours for a more relaxed time.
This is definitely one of the best Chinese restaurants in Northampton friends with all the staff very good food has never had this down. Been here over 100 times always been good quality. I think I’ve had almost everything off the menu at this point and there’s not Ben really nothing that I haven’t liked. I will be back and I do recommend it to anyone who is in Northampton or Who is going through the Northampton area. The food is absolutely absolutely stunning. Absolute anything of your choice.
Took my partner as a birthday gift as he hadn't been there in years. The food was excellent as always and had to ask for doggie bag to take home as couldn't eat it all we opted for the Classic Menu for 2 well worth the money.
Not a food review. We went there and ordered then tucked into the prawn crackers. Had an urgent message and had to leave. They hadn't started cooking, they didnt moan and were so pleasant about it.
One of the best Chinese restaurants I've been to and I've been to many as I travel a lot around the UK due to the job I do. Ordered about 5 starters between 4 of us and the portions were so big that we didn't have space for mains. Every dish was so tasty and very reasonably priced. Looking forward to the mains on our next visit. You will not be disappointed.
Get takeaways from here often, the restaurant is really good, great service and food is AWESOME!!! Favourite dish is General Tso's Chicken. The weekday evening set menu is great value and plenty of food!!! Highly recommend!!!
The best Chinese in Northamptonshire and Buckinghamshire. It’s a family run Chinese Hong Kong style restaurant with Malaysian influence. My husband and I are regular diners never been disappointed by the team. Took my mum from Malaysia to this restaurant recently, she loved every single dish we ordered, all well cooked and tasty. High praise from a very good cook herself! Staff very friendly and helpful, always try their best. Very good value too. To me the food surpasses the old Sunrise because of its Malaysian twist.
Overall: This is a lovely and romantic restaurant with affordable menu 😍 Such a fine place for dinning out with friends or family. The customer service is exceptional then I would like to rate 5 star. Space: The restaurant is cosy with low-light, low-volume music and quiet environment enough for you and your friends to feel private. The space is clean and just big enough for around 70 guests. Traditional style decorations made us feeling like in 4-star restaurant, the table is well-prepared with flower vase and basic table setting. However, the entrance door is quite small so I wonder if the wheelchairs can access inside. Parking: No parking space or very limited in front of the restaurants. Menu: The menu has wide range of Asian dishes, especially the Chinese food. They offer full set of à-la-carte appetizers, main dishes and desserts, as well as menus for 1-2 persons and vegans. Price: ranging from one digit pound to under 20 pounds per dish, so compared with the experiences they offered, I think the price here is inexpensive. Our bill was 21 pounds for 2 drinks and 3 dishes (1 noodle and 2 soup) Food: The food quality acceptable, rating around 6/10. The taste is not the same as original Asian taste but I think it is fine for dining Asian food in Western countries. I would believe that the ingredients were made by hand, not from artificial mix powder. Drink: They offer separate wine menu and soft drinks. The pineapple juice I ordered is ok with the price £2.8. Service: The restaurant attempted to provide the same experience in high-rating restaurants, from free appetizer, hand-washing water and chocolate in waiter bill book.
